Championship venues
The European Championship and Spirit of Master Valencia, 2025 will be held in three spectacular venues across the beautiful city of Valencia. Culture and innovation are the significant themes across these three venues, namely La Carrasca, Tarongers, and Beteró.
All these venues has the legacy of being hosts of various international hockey competitions such as FIH Olympic Qualifiers 2024, FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup 2022, FIH Pro League Men’s & Women’s (2022, 2025*), and many other important European and National Championships.
Venue 1 – La carrasca
Opened a year ago to the hockey enthusiasts, La Carrasca located in the Carrer del Serpis has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the sport and leisure. The distinctive feature of the technology used in the construction of this hockey field is that meanwhile facilitating high ball speed during the real game time. It also provides an extraordinary balance between grip and glide, which provides players a very good feeling of security and high performance. Since its opening, La Carrasca has become an essential part of our day-to-day operations by being the venue for Stages, and was the main venue for the WMH European Championships Valencia 2023.
Venue 2 – Tarongers
The hockey pitch of Tarongers is located at Carrer del Serpis, 29 has been recently renovated with Mondohockey Elite EL system. Besides the conventional hockey fields, this pitch has a short and very dense gauze surface which is filled with water before every use rather than being filled with sand or rubber granules and thereby offering the athletes an opportunity to perform well. This pitch was the primary training facility for the FIH Olympic Qualifiers 2024 and has staged numerous international and national Championships.
Venue 3 - Beteró
The Beteró hockey stadium is situated inside the Virgen del Carmen Beteró Municipal Sports Centre at Carrer del Campillo de Altobuey, 1. Along with the hockey field, the sports centre has padel courts, football fields, outdoor skate-hockey field and a skatepark. The unique feature of the technology used in the hockey pitch guarantees optimal playing properties and safe sliding for professional manoeuvres, even at high speed. This venue has hosted many of the international hockey competitions such as FIH Olympic Qualifiers Valencia 2024, FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup 2022, FIH Pro League Men’s & Women’s (2022, 2025*), and many European and national Championships.
